The CardScan Conduit

(all Palm OS handhelds including Palm Handhelds, Handspring Visors, Sony CLIÉ handhelds, and IBM Workpad handhelds)

The CardScan conduit governs synchronization between CardScan and your Palm handheld.

The Palm Computing Platform uses HotSync technology to synchronize information in the Date Book, Address Book, To Do List, Memo Pad with other desktop applications. The program that manages the HotSync synchronization is HotSync Manager. HotSync Manager uses conduits to manage synchronization between desktop applications and handheld organizers. 

To channel the data between your Palm handheld and CardScan, the CardScan conduit enables the Address Book conduit in HotSync Manager.

All you have to do is scan, HotSync and go!
